Balance Warrior Medley
with Ellie Barbeau
Today's flow class focuses on a medley of Warrior poses. Its a quick and short one but you will feel like a true warrior when its over! The flow is performed on the right side of the mat first, featuring three variations of "Proud Warrior" poses: • Warrior 3: The initial flow incorporates Warrior 3. • Standing Warrior: The second flow includes a standing balance pose, where the user stands tall as a warrior and lifts one knee. • Bent-Knee Warrior 3 (Wudang Dancer): The third variation of Warrior 3 involves bending the raised knee for an added challenge. The flow includes several steps, such as coming into a chair pose, lifting the sword (arms overhead), and performing "chin to shin" repetitions. After completing the three flows on the right side, the class repeats the same three variations—Warrior 3, the standing balance, and the bent-knee Warrior 3—on the left side. The class concludes after the final flow on the left side.
