WeaponUp Medley: Balance, Sculpt, Flex & Grace

Today's session will feel like a true medley of WeaponUp sword yoga fusion and it's designed to get you in flow as you practice movements that combine balance, flexibility, and strength using the sword as our tool. The class begins with three deep breaths while holding the sword between your palms. You will then move into a series of dynamic postures and flows, including: • Zigzagging the feet and performing outside and overhead flowers while extending the leg. • Moving through traditional yoga poses, such as a forward fold, boat pose, downward dog, cat-cow, and extended puppy pose, all with our sword. • Incorporating our first Warrior I and Reverse Warrior sequence • Second flow that combines Roving Ninja and Half Flower Ninja. • Finishing with using the sword as a tool for a bind in a deep stretch. As always you want to focus on your form, such as keeping your back straight during a forward fold and ensuring your shoulders are away from your ears in downward dog. The class finishes with a seated position and five final deep breaths.
