Ovulatory: Strength

Welcome to the Ovulatory Phase of your Cycle. In today's session we are focusing on strength. The ovulatory phase is when you want to be seen, and when you want to share yourself with the world. We feel strong and almost unstoppable. Today's 40-minute strength session focuses on repeating 3 core drills that will improve your strength and have you feeling DRENCHED by the time you finish the class! What you can expect from today's session: • Sun Salutations: We begin at the top of our mat with five Sun Salutation As to get us warmed up for the session. • Side to Side Infinity: Next we enter into twenty side to side infinity movements with your body and sword on each side. We pick up speed when we are ready, but use this as a moment to really get in tune with our sword and body. • Side Stretches and Forward Folds: Following into a few Triangle postures and deep Forward Folds with a supine twist. • Sculpt Drill 1 (Lumberjack Squats): We enter into our sculpt session by using the sword almost as an "axe" we enter into 20 squats with the sword. • Sculpt Drill 2: 10 sculpting drills on each side. These are performed by doing a half flower, lift the sword above the head and then strike into a kneeling lunge, overhead flower as you enter into a kneeling lunge on the other side. • Sculpt Drill 2: Start with half flower ninja, enter into three roving ninjas and then injale and point the sword down into a warrior. We do ten of these on each side! • Half Flower & Full Flower Break: Ten half flowers and ten full flowers as a mini rest! • Repeat those four moves four times!

I was so excited for this series to be uploaded and I was not disappointed! This was such a great workout and I was SWEATing! Absolutely loved this one and I can't wait to see what's in store for the next phase! Thank you Sabina!
