Welcome to this conditioning session! Before you begin, please ensure you have completed the Sculpt and Shred Combo in our Drills and Basics. Keep an eye out for a little "easter egg" in this video where Sabina gets a bit confused with the movements but keeps on going anyway—let us know in the comments if you can spot where it is! Benefits Boosted Energy: These drills are designed to leave you feeling energized for your day. Skill Building: Focus on practicing specific movements multiple times to build mastery. Efficiency: This short session provides powerful practice that can be done at any time. Drill Breakdown Shred Drill Movement: Bring the sword overhead, turning it to the left side, then overhead again and turning it to the right side. Perform a half flower on the right (or left when switching hands) and slice the sword down on the opposite side. Repetitions: 5 times on each side. Slice and Outside Flower Drill Movement: Bring the sword down to slice, followed by an outside flower to bring the sword back. Repetitions: 10 times per side, performed in two sets of 5.10 Point and Lower Drill Movement: With a slight bend in the knee, bring the sword down and then point it forward.11 Repetitions: 10 times on each side.12 Point and Overhead Turn Drill Movement: Point the sword, then bring it over your body as you turn and step.2 Repetitions: 5 times on each side.
