This session features a smooth and flexible double sword flow designed to focus on technique and fluidity. Practicing these drills and flows allows you to focus on movement quality rather than speed, challenging your control and coordination. Class Highlights: • Drill Training: The routine utilizes repetitive movements across both sides of the body, including performing 10 repetitions of specific transitions like brick movements and sliding strikes. • Using Tempo: The session emphasizes slowing down the double sword flows to ensure technical mastery before transitioning into slightly faster, more fluid movements. • Key Movements: Practice a variety of dynamic postures and transitions, including: • Outside and Reverse Flowers: Multiple outside flowers are used to transition into forward strikes and are paired with reverse flower strikes. • Slices and Strikes: The flow integrates horizontal slides from side to side and powerful strikes following flower movements. • Half Flowers and Overhead Movements: Incorporates 10 repetitions of half flowers on each hand and overhead flow transitions. • Starting Positions: The practice begins with straight-back brick movements, involving specific hand and sword orientations, such as one sword facing upward while the other palm faces down. • Full-Body Engagement: The workout utilizes varied positions, including wide arm stances, lowering the hips toward the heels, and finishing with leg lifts.
