This one is so fun. But I think I giggled the whole time because I kept smacking myself. I really felt it in my wrist and arms and shoulders.

Yes you can click the little two triangles facing each other and that will show you the mirrored version!

Ok I absolutely love this breakdown. I picked it up pretty quick because of that specifically!

DAY 3: Today I practiced with a wooden deco bar instead of the remote (still counting the days until my sword arrives 🥲), and it felt much smoother despite being much heavier. Curiously, I was able to pick it up more easily with my left hand than with my right, and after I had it internalized and switched hands, it flowed flawlessly on my right. Today felt good and refreshing. I wished it had been a little longer, but I think this desire for more will motivate me to come back to practice tomorrow. The deco bar says, “Home is where the heart is,” and I found that very appropriate for this moment in my life, for what I’m leaning on to get through it, and for what this practice represents to me. If you're having trouble (like me), you can slow the video down to .5 and even .25 speed! It helped me so much.

I'm loving this! Started slow but practiced moves even walking around. It gets easier.

It took me a little bit to figure out how to rotate my shoulder so that the sword would go behind me properly before starting the arc; it's like you wrap the sword around your body as you do it. It feels elegant...and maybe just a little bit sexy. ;) I'm definitely feeling it in my biceps, triceps, and rotator cuffs after practicing for an hour. I'm really looking forward to learning and integrating the full body movements. You Rock, Sabina!

Once I slowed down and took it step by step, it became more comfortable and very enjoyable. I even caught myself smiling!

I'm using a wooden boken. It seems super awkward going behind. Does sword length affect being able to do this smoothly?

Even with the WeaponUp sword, it still feels super awkward (like a chicken wing) to me, and I'm also just beginning. But I think the flexibility will come.
