This is our official two-month entry program for anyone stepping into WeaponUp having never held a sword before.

Inside these 47 videos, we walk you through all of the foundational jian basics — twice, through our two structured programs — along with the integral stances, postures, and drills that form the backbone of the WeaponUp practice. This is not random movement. It is structured skill development.

You will notice repetition. That is intentional. Repetition builds mastery. Do not skip ahead. Each video reinforces what came before while introducing something new — often details you may not have noticed the first time. For our shorter five minute explainer classes, you can group these to give you a 20-30 minute session for that day. Don't rush it, just practice based on how you are feeling. 

Move through the playlist in order. Rest as many days as you need between classes. Consistency matters more than speed.

Two months from now, you will feel confident, capable, and ready to take on the full WeaponUp studio. You will understand the terminology, the mechanics, and the logic behind the postures and drills we use throughout the platform.
