Nesta Archeron's Graceful Dance

With Ellie Barbeau

From The FMC Edit

Join us for a revisit of the female main character series as we harness our inner Nesta once more. This video features a whole flow inspired by what Nesta would create if she were a "WeaponUp girl".

The Flow Step by Step:

  • Bringing the sword's blade up overhead, creating a long, graceful line.
  • An outside flower as the sword is brought down.
  • A half flower while crossing over with the left foot, coming out for a spin.
  • Opening up into Warrior 3.
  • A side lunge with the left foot, striking out to the side.
  • An overhead flower with the sword.
  • Reversing into the "cauldron stir".
  • Striking out to the side and returning to the side lunge.

The flow is taught first on the right side for three repetitions, starting slow and then getting quicker, and then on the left side, also repeated three times. Some of the moves in this flow were previously practiced in the original Nesta class, which Ellie encourages you to revisit.

Welcome to Nesta's graceful dance!
