Sword Yoga Flow: Full Body Release

This 22-minute class focuses on releasing tension through the entire body. We begin with sun salutations to warm up, then move through a balanced sequence of stretches and flows. The session closes with a shoulder stand to leave you feeling grounded and refreshed. A complete practice meant to restore mobility and ease.

You Will Need:
  • Your sword
  • Mat

Before class, set up your space, have your sword nearby, and take a few slow breaths. Prepare to move through the sequence with attention and steady focus.

This was my first class and pretty good. A couple recommendations:
Have another instructor present with you to model modifications or at least demonstrate some for clients that are still building spinal flexibility or are working with knee issues.
Gentle and encouraging reminders throughout to not collapse the core and how to engage the core. Sometimes it’s easy to let that slide when we’re focusing on movements or the sword.
Personally, I would enjoy some motivating swordplay instrumentals in the background versus silence, but others may disagree.
I look forward to getting my sword and trying some of your other videos.

This was my first one and my first class ! Hiii! I’m new and using a sword I have currently until I get the one that comes with this ! I’m enjoying it so far !💐
