Leg Day - WeaponUp Style

With Ellie Barbeau

Welcome to today's sculpt class—it’s Leg Day, WeaponUp Style! This class features powerful leg movements that you are guaranteed to be feeling tomorrow.

Key movements include:
  • Half Flower Ninjas: Perform 10 repetitions on each side.
  • Rise and Squat: A wide-stance movement done in between other leg movements, where you squat down and lift, extending the sword up. Complete 10 repetitions.
  • Outside Flower to Warrior 3: Work on leg strength and balance by lifting your knee, performing an outside flower, extending back to Warrior 3, and then lifting back up. Do eight repetitions on each side.
  • Overhead Flower with Side Lunge: In a side lunge position, perform an overhead flower and bring the hand down to the mat, 10 times consecutively on each side.
  • Cross-Behind Lunge: Lunge with one leg crossing behind the other, return to the mat, and sweep the sword up to the starting position with an overhead flower. Complete 10 repetitions on each side.
  • Final Pulse: Hold the last squat of the Rise and Squat series for a 10-count pulse.

The class finishes with a cool-down on the mat, including breathing exercises and gentle seated forward folds. Be sure to focus on your breath and don't be afraid to hear it to guide you through the movements.
