The class includes:
- Warm-up: Starting with deep breaths and a cat-cow movement while using the sword.
- Hip and Thigh Stretches: Deep stretches for the hips and outer thighs, including sitting with legs crossed (left knee forward, then right knee forward), incorporating forward folds, and outside flower points.
- Warrior and Lunge Work: Kneeling striking warrior and high lunge poses with a focus on pushing the hips forward and opening the hamstrings.
- Movement Drills: Practicing the "half flower ninja" drill and "outside flower kick" sequences.
- Deep Stretches and Bind: Incorporating deep squats, side-to-side movements, and a bind using the sword as a tool.
You will feel the expansion in different muscles as you work slowly and deliberately to push your flexibility closer to your goal.
