Day 14: Consolidated Practice (Day Seven to Day 12)

Welcome to Day 14! Today's session is the Consolidated Practice II, where we combine movements from Day 7 through Day 12.
We are going to perform many of these movements 20 times on both sides, so let's focus on building those foundational movements.

Here is what we'll be practicing:
- Changing Hands and Lifts: We begin with 20 lifts on each side.
- Sword Behind the Back: We will change the sword behind the back and bring it in for 20 repetitions on each side.
- Whoosh Sounds: Next, we'll do 10 "whoosh sounds" on each side of the mat.
- Upper Body Movements: We will focus on three upper body movements, performing them 20 times on each side.
- Upper Body Figure Eight: Complete 10 repetitions of the upper body figure eight on each side.
- Half Flower with Hand: We will integrate the half flower with the hand for 10 repetitions on each side.
- Lower Body Figure Eights: We'll start with lower body figure eights, doing 10 slow circles with the feet together, and then 10 larger figure eights with the feet open.
- Circles and Reverse Circles: Practice going up in a circle and then reversing the circle for 10 repetitions.
- Side-to-Side Movement: Move from side to side 10 times on each side.
- Figure Eight with Upper Body Integration: Integrate the figure eight with the upper body movement for 10 repetitions on each side.
- Half Flower with Side-to-Side: Bring in the half flower with the side-to-side movement for five repetitions on each side.
- Lifts (Upper and Lower Body Integration): We'll integrate the upper and lower body while doing lifts for 10 repetitions on each side.
- Figure Eight with Bent Knees: Bend the knees and move the upper and lower body while doing the figure eight for 10 repetitions on each side.
- Snake Charmer: We'll finish the practice with the snake charmer, moving from front to back for 10 repetitions on both sides.
These consolidated practices are important, as they will give you the foundations and the basics of the sword to get better in your flows. You can repeat today's session, or any of the consolidated practices, as many times as possible.
